Sunray's T-shirts are inspired by classic 1950s shirts in terms of cut and feel. They feature a loose yet regular fit, with traditional collars, ribbed details, and a sturdy fabric. Weight: 260 g. Made in Japan.

All Sunray T-shirts are manufactured in Japan under conditions that are considered the global benchmark for quality. Production takes place on antique circular knitting machines dating back to a time when precision was more important than quantity. These machines produce just one meter of fabric per hour—one T-shirt requires about 1.2 meters.

The cotton thread is spun into a seamless fabric tube at just 24 revolutions per minute. This slow, tension-free process creates a shirt without any side seams – one that retains its shape over time and feels pleasantly soft. Each T-shirt requires over 90 minutes of pure production time.

Sunray is a manufacturer that has existed since 1926 – now in its third generation. At one point in its history, the company also produced uniforms for the Japanese Imperial Palace.
