A tourist office is brought back to life
The excitement couldn't have been greater when we announced the grand opening of the Arlberg Club House in December 2024. Our goal was to unite an elegant restaurant, a contemporary concept store, and a unique club (Margo's) under one roof.
The historic building was preserved and meticulously restored (in collaboration with Jürgen Kitzmüller Architecture). On approximately 430 square meters, a lovingly detailed ensemble was created, reflecting a keen understanding of the clients' personal wishes and clear vision. This ensemble comprises a first-class bistro-style restaurant, a curated shopping experience, and a cool clubbing venue. A unique meeting place, reflecting creative vision and a deep passion for building and designing with valuable cultural heritage.

“We knew from the beginning that if the Arlberg Club House was to be more than just a place to eat, drink and linger, then the interior had to captivate visitors.”
Elegant understatement
Starting with the wood-paneled core of the house, a design was conceived with great creativity and sensitivity to the location, reflected in particular in soft forms, natural stone (travertine), custom wood and metalwork, and decorative antique glass. A carefully selected mix of materials in warm colors, connecting all levels, creates a feeling of Mediterranean lightness and well-being, which was so important to the clients.

Creating a flowing experience from the basement (club) through the restaurant/bar to the upper floor (concept store), thus intelligently connecting the three areas, was one of the biggest challenges. The carpet in the stairwell defines the inviting character of the Club House – curated designer pieces with custom upholstery, artfully placed antique mirrors, and exquisite wallpapers underscore the selective mix of materials and textures. A successful interpretation of the deep appreciation for timeless design, respecting the valuable building fabric and the natural surroundings in beautiful Lech am Arlberg.
