In a world where many perfume houses rely on eye-catching bottles and loud marketing campaigns, Perfumer H takes a different approach: quiet, handcrafted, uncompromising, and profoundly poetic. This brand represents a new generation of perfumery – reduced to its essence: the fragrance itself.
Lyn Harris's vision
Perfumer H is the brainchild of Lyn Harris , one of Britain's most renowned independent perfumers. After years in haute perfumery, she founded her own label with a clear mission: to create authentic, natural, and exceptionally balanced fragrances that tell a story – subtle, elegant, and deeply personal.
Harris works with the finest, often nature-based raw materials and composes her fragrances in her London studio. Each fragrance is created in small batches and bottled by hand – a sign of true craftsmanship and care.
We've been following the brand for many years, and with the opening of our own store, we finally had a reason to bring their fragrances to Lech. We were immediately captivated by the clarity, the meticulous craftsmanship, and the naturalness of each scent. Perfumer H stands for slowness, awareness, and depth —an attitude that perfectly aligns with what we want to embody in our store: things with soul.

A visit to the flagship store in the heart of the Marais quickly turns into an afternoon filled with olfactory inspiration. We focus not only on the brand's bestsellers, but also on unique pieces that resonate with us. Our selection includes perfumes, scented candles in hand-blown vessels, room sprays, incense fragrances, and the new Rain Wood body care line.
Rose with Insect
The perfumer's latest fragrance creation has just arrived in our store. Rose with Insect is a modern reinterpretation of the classic rose scent and opens with delicate notes of peach and neroli. Fragments of rose isolates—individual molecules, each containing a part of the flower's essence—are used to suggest the vision of a bloom emerging between light and darkness.
"My approach to floral fragrances is never simple. I don't like anything that's too beautiful or too perfect. Rose With Insect is a fragrance that captures beauty with its imperfections, which for me is the true beauty of life and nature."
The composition gains depth when musk and cardamom add warmth and texture, sandalwood and papyrus add the dryness of wood, and birch breaks through with smoke – thus continuing the story of a subversive sensual encounter.
And then – the shimmer of an insect's wings. Ionones and a hint of aldehydes create a metallic, iridescent sheen, further enhanced by cardamom, angelica, and pear. A subtle strangeness that refracts the light against the softness, capturing the dark beauty at the heart of the Eau de Parfum.

For the long-awaited launch of Perfumer H Bathing, Lyn Harris drew inspiration from the beauty of Yorkshire's natural landscapes and the invigorating effect of swimming outdoors, creating a sense of inner harmony and elemental tranquility that only nature can offer. Bathing transports the body to a new place and revitalizes the mind. An escape into the magnificent outdoors.
The RAIN WOOD bath collection was selected for its olfactory qualities, which reflect the sensory contrasts of bathing in nature. With its moist, woody base of juniper and cedarwood with patchouli leaves, it evokes an earthy riverbank. The top notes of galbanum and elemi then blend with the crisp freshness of pepper to conjure the sparkle of sunlight on the water.
